What the two badges at the foot of every page mean, and how to check them for yourself.

ISO 9001:2015

ProAudium's quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by the British Assessment Bureau, a certification body accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

  • Certificate number: 220471
  • Scope: the management of technical services encompassing maintenance, support and repairs for Public Address and Voice Alarm and Emergency Voice Communications systems, for fire and security contractors, facility management companies and end users in the UK.
  • First certified: 13 December 2021. The current certificate runs to 12 December 2027, and the system is assessed again every year.

In practice this means the way a maintenance visit is planned, carried out, recorded and reported is written down, followed, and checked once a year by an independent assessor. When something goes wrong, the correction is recorded too.

ISCVE

ProAudium is a member of the Institute of Sound, Communications and Visual Engineers (ISCVE), the UK professional body for people who design, install and maintain sound, communications and visual systems. The institute publishes guidance used across voice alarm work, including the microphone training guide that BS 5839-8 names.
